The Poco M2 Pro has just been announced in India. The device will compete with the likes of the Realme 6.
The M2 Pro is not the Redmi 10X 5G like many of us were expecting, and though it does share many similarities with the phone, it is in fact more similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The Poco M2 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a water-drop notch. The screen and the back panel are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has a 16MP selfie lens housed in the notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The device has 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, and supports upto 512GB microSD via a dedicated card slot. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port and supports 33W Fast Charging which can top up the phone from 0 to 50% in under 30 minutes.
In terms of optics, the Poco M2 Pro features quad cameras comprising a 48MP primary lens with a 79° FOV, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with 119° FOV, a 2Mp depth sensor and a 5MP macro lens. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a splash proof design with P2i.

Poco M2 Pro price in India
The Poco M2 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/64GB model costs Rs. 14,999. The top end variant of the phone with 6GB/128GB carries a price tag of Rs. 16,999. The phone will go on sale on 14th July at 12PM on Flipkart.
