Google has confirmed the Fitbit Edge is real, and it has put a date on the reveal. The company’s @googlehealth account on X posted a teaser image of the device with the caption “Get an Edge on your health. 10.12.26.” That points to Monday, October 12, 2026.

The teaser itself is a tight crop. It shows the side of the Fitbit Edge and part of the band, in rose-gold and grey tones. The post carries no specifications and no pricing.
What the Fitbit Edge Leaks Have Already Shown
Everything known about the hardware still comes from leaks rather than Google. androidpure has covered two of them. A retail listing tied to an FCC filing surfaced first, and a fuller spec sheet with a €179 price followed.
Those earlier leaks, credited to Dealabs and Android Headlines, describe the device this way:
- Display: 1.34-inch always-on OLED touchscreen
- Location: built-in GPS
- Motion sensors: accelerometer and gyroscope
- Altitude sensors: barometer and altimeter
- Health sensors: optical heart rate and blood oxygen
- Leaked price: €179
What to Expect on Monday
Treat that spec list as unconfirmed until Google publishes its own sheet. The €179 figure is a European retail leak, and as of October 10 no official pricing for any market has surfaced. India timing is also open. For reference, Google’s Fitbit Air reached India at ₹13,999 with sales starting on October 2.
What the teaser does settle is the name and the date. Everything else stays leak-tier until Monday. We will have the confirmed details on October 12.
