A Redmi Pro 2 leaked poster has been spotted at Weibo. And it hints that the upcoming device is a flagship phone.

Redmi Pro 2 leaked poster
The Redmi brand has long been Xiaomi’s budget brand, and has featured chipsets from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 600 series, while upper-end Snapdragon 800 has always been reserved for the Mi flagship phones. Of course, the Poco F1 sits in between the two brands in terms of the price.

The Chinese OEM recently announced Redmi as an individual brand globally. But this Redmi Pro 2 leaked poster suggests that the company is upping the ante for the brand.

The leaked photo shows a notchless display design, with a pop-up selfie camera. The Redmi Pro 2 has a nearly symmetrical front panel, with a thick frame running around the device, with only a slight chin making it look a bit off.

According to the leak, the Redmi Pro 2 will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The feature which stands out however, quite literally, is the pop-up selfie camera on the device. An earlier rumour indicated that this phone could have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Tech specs from the Redmi Pro 2 leaked poster

  • Display: Notchless design
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855
  • Cameras: Triple Cameras with a 48MP lens, LED Flash
  • Security: In-screen fingerprint scanner
  • Audio:3.5mm headphone jack

The leaked Redmi 2 Poster tells us that the phone will sport triple cameras, one of which is a 48MP lens. The device has a gradient back panel.

Other technical specifications of the phone remain unknown as of now. Stay tuned for more information about the device.
