Redmi Note 9 with Helio G85, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh Battery launched in India

As expected, Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India. The company has launched three variants of the device with a base variant at Rs. 11,999 while the most expensive variant is priced at Rs. 14,999. In the last few months, we have seen price increase for most of the entry-level budget smartphone in India and the same pattern can be seen here with base pricing of Rs. 11,999. A few months back, we may have seen a price starting at Rs.9,999.

 

 

Redmi Note 9

Redmi Note 9 sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ Display having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 Processor along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB / 128GB internal storage and runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 operating system.

In terms of camera, it features a quad-camera module at the rear consisting of 48MP wide-angle primary sensor + 8MP ultra-wide camera,118° FOV along with 2MP macro camera (2cm focus distance) and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it features a 13MP in-display AI Selfie camera with punch hole. It comes with a rear fingerprint sensor instead of side-mounted sensor and supports AI Face Unlock.

It is backed by 5020mAh battery with 22.5W fast charger in the box and also supports 9W reverse charging.
