The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inches LCD Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 450 nits brightness. The selfie lens in the top left corner of the screen is a 16MP sensor with an f/2.05 aperture. The phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10, and is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor with an Adreno 619 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The Note 9 Pro 5G is backed by a 4,820 mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port, with support for 33W Fast Charging. The device has quad cameras on the back comprising a 108MP primary lens with an f/1.75 aperture, an ultra wide-angle lens with an 8MP sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 120° FOV, a 2MP Macro lens, with 1.75μm pixel size and a 2MP Depth Sensor, that has 1.75μm pixel size and an LED Flash. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G price starts at RMB 1599 for the 6GB/128GB version that’s about Rs. 18,000. The 8GB/128GB version costs RMB 1799 (about Rs. 20,000), and at RMB 1999 (about Rs. 22,000) for the 8GB/256GB variant.
The Redmi Note 9 5G 6GB/128GB variant price is set at RMB 1299 (about Rs. 15,000), while the 8GB/128GB version costs RMB 1499 (about Rs. 17,000). The 8GB/256GB variant costs RMB 1699 (about Rs. 19,000).
The Redmi Note 9 4G version with 4GB/128GB has been priced at RMB 999 (about Rs. 11,000), while the 6GB/128GB model costs RMB 1099 (about Rs. 12,000). The 8GB/128GB variant carries a price tag of RMB 1299 (about Rs. 16,000), and the 8GB/256GB model costs RMB 1499 (about Rs. 17,000).
There is no word yet whether the new phones will be launched in India, but the Redmi Note 9 4G appears to be similar to the upcoming Poco M3.
