The news comes from Redmi China’s Weibo page. Redmi is expected to announce multiple phones, which are rumoured to be the Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and a 4G variant. The image that you see here shows one of the phones, possibly the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

The phone has quad cameras housed in a large circular bump with an LED flash that is placed to the left of the lenses. If you look at the poster closely, you can see a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the power button. The buttons above it are the volume rocker keys.

Rumours suggest that the phone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The normal Redmi Note 9 5G seems to have a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, just like the Realme 7 5G that was announced in Europe a day ago. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is also said to boast a 108MP camera and a 120Hz refresh rate display.

MediaTek’s India chief has hinted that Dimensity powered phones are on the way to the Country in 2021. So, there is a chance we could see the Redmi Note 9 5G in India as well.

In the meantime, Xiaomi will be announcing the Poco M3 in India on November 24th.
