After loads of speculation and rumours, Xiaomi has announced the official launch date of its flagship device Redmi K20, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The official launch date announcement comes from Redmi Weibo handle which released a teaser which includes an image of a Boxer with Redmi Gloves.

The flagship device is set to launch in India soon as confirmed by Xiaomi itself though we still don’t have any official launch date.

Some rumours indicate that one of these devices may launch as Poco F2 in India.

Redmi K20 specs leaked along with K20 Pro

The Redmi K20 specs have been leaked. Wait, what is this phone you wonder? Its apparently what the upcoming flagship phone from Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand will be called.

Redmi K20 specsAnd there is a pro variant as well. We aren’t really sure where these names come from, they are certainly quite odd, especially considering there wasn’t a K10, or a K series device for that matter. The Redmi X moniker which we saw in a leaked poster, sounded better than the K20.

That being said, this is not the first time we are hearing about it. We saw some the Redmi K20 specs leaked via a protective film which was leaked in China.

According to MySmartPrice and Ishan Agarwal, the Redmi K20 will be available in 3 variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

Rumours indicate that the Redmi K20 could be launched as the Poco F2 in India. The Redmi K20 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and feature triple rear cameras, one of which will be a 48MP sensor with a super wide-angle lens. The pop-up selfie camera on the phone is a 20MP lens. The device will sport a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
