OnePlus 5T with 6.0 inch 18:9 Display is official, starting at Rs. 32,999

After loads of leaks and rumours, OnePlus has officially unveiled their latest flagship smartphone i.e. OnePlus 5T. Even though much before the official launch, we have already seen the actual device along with every other detail except the price,  thanks to numerous hands-on images, videos and other leaks ahead of the official unveiling.

OnePlus 5T can be considered an upgrade over OnePlus 5 which comes with a minor hardware bump with a bigger display and better camera sensors. OnePlus 5T sports a 6.01-inch 1080p Full HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixel) Optic AMOLED / DCI-P3 18:9 display instead of 5.5-inch conventional display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with Anodised Aluminium material and is powered by 2.45 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system with Oxygen OS on top of it.

In terms of camera, it comes with a dual camera module at rear consisting of 20 MP Sony IMX 376K sensor, f/1.7 lens & 16 MP (Wide-angle) Sony IMX 398 sensors with f/.7 aperture, Dual LED Flash; 4K Video at 30 fps. OnePlus has removed the telephoto lens of OnePlus 5 and replaced it with a new 20MP sensor with a f/1.7 aperture for better low light shots and portrait shots. There is no optical zoom available now as it was with OnePlus 5. On the front, it features a 16 MP Sony IMX 371 camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is backed by same 3300 mAh (non-removable) battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A).

The OnePlus 5T comes will be available in Midnight Black color. It is priced same as that of OnePlus 5 in India i.e Rs. 32,999 ($499 in the U.S.) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, whereas 8GB RAM + 128GB version costs Rs. 37,999 ($559 in the U.S.). It will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting 4:30 PM on November 21st for Amazon Prime customers, OnePlus India Online Store and OnePlus experience store in Bangalore as a part of early access sale. It will be available on open sale from OnePlus India Store, Amazon.in as well as OnePlus Experience Stores from November 28th.
