The One UI Core 2.1 Update for Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M01s is rolling out in India. Here’s what we know about the new version.
Both devices get the trimmed down version of One UI known as One UI Core.
What’s new in the One UI Core 2.1 Update for Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M01s
The firmware includes the latest security update from Google, i.e. the September 2020 Security Patch. The One UI Core 2.1 Update for Galaxy M31 also adds more features like Single Take, Shutter Speed Controls for Pro Mode, My Filters, Music Share, Quick Share to name a few.
The Galaxy M01s which was launched two months ago with Android Pie has now been updated to Android 10. It has the version number M315FXXU2ATI4, and is also available in Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. New features that the update ships with include Music Share and Quick Share. The device also gets the new features from Google’s Android 10.
According to a report by SamMobile, the One UI Core 2.1 Update for Galaxy M31 is available for the device with the model SM-M315F, while the Galxy M01s model is SM-M017F.
If you haven’t received the update on your phone, navigate to the Settings > Software update and tap on the option that says “Download and install”.
