Apart from improvements for the system performance, the update also brings most of MIUI 11 features such as Nature Sounds, Simplified colours for the interface, etc to the popular mid-ranger.

The MIUI 11 update for Redmi Note 7 also sees the firmware jump to the October Android Security Patch, from the August patch it had in MIUI 10. Considering that it’s almost November, Xiaomi could have patched it to the November Security Patch. But many high end phones are yet to receive the update, so this is not bad at all.

And Xiaomi has announced that the MIUI 11 update is also rolling out to the Redmi 7 and the Redmi Y3.

The company has released the MIUI 11 update for the Redmi K20, Poco F1 and a few other devices already, and today marks the end of the phase 1 of the MIUI 11 update roadmap. Phase 2  of the roadmap is set to begin on November 4th, and should see the update arrive for several devices including the Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi Note 5 series, among other phones.
