Galaxy Fit 4 Support Pages Go Live in India and UK Ahead of Launch

Samsung has published support pages for a new fitness band, model SM-R391, in India, the UK, Germany, Italy, Australia, Brazil and Malaysia. Regulatory filings tie that model number to the Galaxy Fit 4, which would be Samsung’s first new fitness tracker since the Galaxy Fit3 in 2024.

Support pages tend to appear shortly before a product goes on sale. Samsung has not announced the band yet, though. It has not given a price or a launch date either.

Where the Galaxy Fit 4 support pages are live

Each page lists the band by its model number only, not by name. None of them carry specs, prices or dates. Two colour codes appear in every market, NZKA and NZSA, which are consistent with black and silver.

In India, the pages cover SM-R391NZKAINU and SM-R391NZSAINU. The UK, Germany and Italy share the same European model codes ending in EUB.

SammyGuru also lists France, Spain and several other European countries as launch markets. androidpure has not checked those pages. US availability isn’t clear yet. Samsung’s US support site loads a page even for model numbers that don’t exist, so it can’t confirm or rule out a US launch.

What the Galaxy Fit 4 app teardown shows (unconfirmed)

The feature details come from SammyGuru, which took apart the Galaxy Fit4 Manager app on October 29. Samsung has confirmed none of this, so treat it as a leak until launch.

The most useful addition is Find My Phone, which lets you ring a misplaced phone from the band. The app also references up to 12 tiles. Two new notification options appear too, labelled Smart device selection and Always show on both.

Watch-face assets in the app measure 258 x 428 pixels. The assets also show three colours: Black, Silver and Light Green. The support pages only back up two colour codes so far, so the green option rests on app assets alone.

Health and fitness tracking

The health features referenced in the app cover the usual budget-band basics, plus a few sleep extras.

  • Activity: steps, active time and activity calories
  • Heart rate: heart-rate monitoring, high and low alerts, heart-rate zones
  • Stress: high-stress alerts and breathing exercises
  • Sleep: sleep stages, sleep score, and coaching after seven nights of data
  • Snoring detection: needs your phone, not just the band
  • Other: blood oxygen, automatic workout recognition, cycle tracking

Snoring detection is worth a caveat. The band can’t do it alone, so it depends on having your phone set up for it overnight.

Bluetooth 5.4, but likely still no GPS

Regulatory filings for the SM-R391 list Bluetooth 5.4, up from 5.3 on the Fit3, as reported by SammyGuru. SammyGuru also says built-in GPS appears to be missing again. If that holds, outdoor runs and rides will still need your phone to map routes.

Should Galaxy Fit3 owners wait?

If the teardown is right, the Galaxy Fit 4 looks very close to the Fit3, with a few software additions. Find My Phone and extra tiles are handy, but most of the health list is familiar.

Fit3 owners have little reason to upgrade on these leaks alone. That is especially true with built-in GPS still absent after nearly three years. For first-time buyers, price will decide it.

An earlier rumor put the Fit 4 under $100, but Samsung hasn’t confirmed any figure. Its main rival keeps moving too: Google’s Fitbit Air is getting sleep breathing quality tracking soon.
