Lava will raise prices across its smartphone range in India by up to ₹3,000 from November 15, 2026. The company blames ongoing memory shortages for the increase.
Until that date, Lava phones stay at their current festive prices online and in stores. Lava hasn’t yet said how much each model will go up.

What Lava said about the price hike
In a statement shared with media, Lava tied the change directly to component costs:
In the current industry environment, ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to ₹3,000 across our smartphone portfolio, effective 15th November, 2026.
That’s Lava International’s statement, as carried by Fone Arena and The Hindu. The revision covers both online partner platforms and offline retail across India, Fone Arena reports.
What the Lava price hike means if you’re buying
Up to ₹3,000 is a ceiling, not a flat increase. Some models may rise by less, and Lava hasn’t said which ones.
If you already planned to buy a Lava phone, buying before November 15 avoids the increase. If you didn’t, the deadline on its own isn’t a reason to buy.
Lava is passing higher memory costs straight on to buyers. According to The Hindu, the brand focuses on phones under ₹30,000, where ₹3,000 is a noticeable share of the price.
The Hindu also notes that Lava is the only Indian brand competing among the Chinese and Korean players. It cites Counterpoint data putting Indian brands, including Ai+, at about 7% of India’s market in Q3 2026.
Higher prices are already weighing on the wider market, with India’s phone shipments hitting a decade low in Q3. Lava’s recent launches include the Bold N4 Pro 5G at ₹13,999, so watch for revised prices on listings after the 15th.
