The unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 is $300 cheaper right now, with the 256GB model at $1,599.99 on both Samsung.com and Amazon. That’s down from a list price of $1,899.99. At Amazon, the Graphite 256GB model is sold and shipped by Amazon itself. These prices were live when we checked on the afternoon of November 2 (US Eastern time) and could change at any time.

Galaxy Z Fold8 deal prices by storage
Samsung.com shows the same $300 cut on every storage tier of the unlocked Fold8:
- 256GB: $1,599.99, down from $1,899.99 (Samsung.com and Amazon)
- 512GB: $1,799.99, down from $2,099.99 (Samsung.com)
- 1TB: $2,199.99, down from $2,499.99 (Samsung.com)
At these prices, the 512GB model costs $200 more than the 256GB version. The 1TB model costs $600 more than the base model. Amazon’s listing shows the 256GB deal as 16% off.
On Amazon, we confirmed the price only for the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 256GB in Graphite. If you want more storage, Samsung.com is where we saw the 512GB and 1TB discounts.
A used Fold8, and the Fold8 Ultra
The same Amazon page lists a used unit for $1,391.99, graded Used – Very Good and sold by Amazon Resale. That’s a used phone, not new stock, so check its condition notes and return terms before buying. Amazon also offers a Renewed option on the listing.
The larger Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 512GB in Graphite is $2,299.99 new at Amazon. We couldn’t confirm a list price for it, so we can’t say whether that’s a discount. Samsung says Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra sales are up 45% in Europe.
Unlocked price versus carrier deals
This is an outright price for an unlocked phone, with no new line or bill credits involved. Carrier offers work differently. AT&T’s Fold8 offer takes up to $1,200 off, but that discount is paid out over 36 months. The unlocked route costs more upfront, but it doesn’t tie you to one carrier for three years.
