Honor has published its full rollout plan for MagicOS 11. The Android 17-based update was unveiled at Honor’s Global Developer Conference (HGDC 2026) on September 15. Honor is splitting the rollout into three batches, and which one you’re in decides whether you get it this week or wait until November.
Batch 1: Stable Update Live Now
Honor pushed a full, unlimited-access stable build to its newest flagships and foldables starting September 15. No sign-up is required for this batch.

Honor’s own rollout notes add a caveat worth remembering: timing “may vary as per your region.” A device landing in Batch 1 in China isn’t guaranteed the same week elsewhere.
What’s New in MagicOS 11
The headline design change is a translucent “liquid glass” look applied across icons, widgets, and menus. Honor built it on what it calls its Luminous and Hummingbird architectures. The company also claims a Storage Space 2.0 feature that uses lossless compression to free up to 60GB of storage.
The upgraded Yoyo AI assistant can reportedly handle tasks spanning up to 100 steps. Honor says it taps into more than 10,000 third-party AI services, though that count is specific to China and won’t mean much to a buyer elsewhere. Honor also says system animations run roughly 20% faster than on MagicOS 10.
None of those figures have been independently tested. They come from Honor’s own marketing, not from androidpure’s own benchmarking. Treat “20% faster” and “up to 60GB freed” as claims to verify once real devices are in hand, not as settled fact.
No Global or India Date Yet
Every batch above is a China rollout. Honor hasn’t announced international timing yet. The company’s global builds have historically trailed the China release by weeks or months. If your Honor phone isn’t sold in China, today’s practical takeaway is simply that MagicOS 11 exists and is coming, not when it reaches your device.
