Google has finally unveiled their second generation of Pixel devices with Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Out of these two devices, Google Pixel 2 is the smaller one in terms of display and offer almost same hardware specification as that of Google Pixel 2 XL.
Google Pixel 2 sports a 5.0-inch Full HD 1080p AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage up to 256GB with the microSD card. It runs on the latest version of Android i.e. Android 8.0 (Oreo).
In terms of camera, it features 12.2MP main rear camera with LED flash with optical image stabilisation OIS, EIS, f/1.8 aperture along with laser & dual pixel phase detection, 4K video recording while on the front it comes with 8MP shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 145.7 x 69.7 x 7.8 mm and weighs 143 grams. The phone is backed by a 2,700mAh battery along with support for fast charging. The fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel. Other features include Water and Dust Resistant (IP67) support and Stereo front-firing speakers.

The Google Pixel 2 will be available in Kinda Blue, Just Black and Clearly White colour option. It is priced at $649 (~Rs. 42000) for the 64GB variant and $749 (Rs. 49,000) for the 128GB variant. In terms of global availability, it will be available initially in Australia, Germany, Canada, India, UK and U.S. followed by in Italy, Singapore and Spain later.
