Xiaomi could be preparing to release some new phones in India. A report alleges that these will be the Redmi Note 10 and Xiaomi Mi 11 series. Here’s what we know about the upcoming devices.

Redmi Note 9 Pro successor Redmi Note 10 to launch soon in India

Xiaomi India’s marketing chief, Sumit Sonal, had previously confirmed that the company will launch the Mi 11 in India. A report by 91Mobiles and Ishan Agarwal suggests that the device will be available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants. The phone will come in 3 colours: Pink, Black and Blue.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro could be equipped with a 120Hz display, and it is said to be an IPS LCD panel. The phone reportedly runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11, and will be backed by a 5,050 mAh battery that supports quick charging. The device is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, and will feature a 64MP primary camera.

The Redmi Note Pro has been certified in a few Countries and these indicate that the phone could come in 4G and 5G variants. So, we could see a variant powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor.

The report also claims that the Redmi Note 10 and Pro will be priced aggressively, even more than the Redmi Note 9 because it didn’t meet the expected sales numbers. The phones are said to be available in 3 colours: Gray, White and Green. The new mobiles could be announced in February.

Going by the company’s recent history, we think that the Redmi Note Pro could be rebranded as the Poco M3 Pro.
