An official Redmi K30 5G press render has been released by Xiaomi. It comes just a day after we saw the regular variant of the phone leaked in a video.

Redmi K30 5G press render analysis

There is one difference between the leaked photo and the official one. And just as we mentioned in yesterday’s article, this phone has a quad camera setup on the back panel, not three. But, it’s possible that the extra optical sensor could be exclusive to the 5G variant.

Speaking of which, the 5G branding is visible just below the LED Flash module. The design of the phone seen in the Redmi K30 5G press render from Weibo, appears to have a two-tone finish, with a metallic ring around the camera bump, and a matte-like finish for the rest of the panel. The 4 cameras are arranged vertically in the bump.

Also visible in the Redmi K30 5G press render is a Redmi logo at the lower end of the rear cover. Thanks to a prior teaser image, we already know that the device will have dual-punchhole selfie cameras placed in the top right corner of the screen.

Here’s a brief recap of the internals from previous leaks.

Redmi K30 Specs

  • Display: 6.66-inches Full HD+ 2400 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz
  • Operating System: MIUI 11
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G
  • GPU: Adreno 618
  • Storage: 64GB
  • Selfie Camera: Dual punch-hole cameras
  • Connectivity: 5G mobile networks

The successor to the Redmi K20 will be officially announced on December 10th in China.
