We are still two weeks away from the official launch of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The company is now running print Ads ahead of the official launch in the United States. A print advertisement of four full pages reveals some of the key aspects of the upcoming flagship devices. The first two pages of the Ad showing a sketch, confirms the triple camera module of OnePlus 7 Pro aligned vertically in the top middle of the rear panel. If you look closely, you can even see the popup camera module along with the USB C type port at the bottom.

OnePlus 7 Pro Pricing?

The next two full pages talk about some features of the ONePlus 7 Pro such as No Notch, No app lag, NO Bloatware etc., but more interestingly it talks about the price tag of the Samsung Galaxy Fold i.e. “No $2000 Price tag”. If you noticed, OnePlus isn’t comparing the price tag of $1000 flagship devices but instead talking about $2000 price tag. In our opinion, this indicates that OnePlus 7 Pro may be priced much higher than earlier devices from the company and may nearer towards $1000 instead of the usual $500+. We expect the standard variant to be priced lower compared with the Pro Variant. The rumoured Europen Pricing leaked by @Ishanagrawal is already out though, suggesting Pro variant pricing as follows:

  • 8+256GB: € 749/759
  • 12+256GB: € 819/829

It’s Official, OnePlus 7 Series launch set for May 14

After loads of speculation and rumours, OnePlus has just announced the official launch date for their next flagship series i.e. OnePlus 7 Series with a simultaneous launch in New York United States, London UK and Bangalore India (8:15 PM IST). OnePlus used to launch only one flagship device at a time, but this year it is set to change. The official announcement declares it as “OnePlus 7 Series launch” which basically confirms the launch of more than one device.

OnePlus 7 Series

The official launch date basically is the same as the earlier leak indicated.

Yesterday, the company’s CEO, Pete Lau took to Twitter to drop a hint about the phone. Apparently, the OnePlus 7 will employ an “all-new display technology”. And this technology costs 3 times the cost of other flagship displays.

So, what can we take from this? Expect the OnePlus 7 series to arrive with a massive price tag. Rumours so far have suggested that we could be looking at a phone above $600, and if that Tweet tells us something, it could be even more.

OnePlus 7 Series smartphones may launch on May 14th globally

A new rumour indicates that OnePlus may officially launch their OnePlus 7 series smartphones globally next month on May 14. This launch date information comes from tipster Ishan Agarwal. You did read that “OnePlus 7” series right as rumours indicate that OnePlus is set to launch more than one smartphone this year instead of just one. If you remember, OnePlus 6 was launched on May 16 last year globally, hence the date of May 14 is almost one year later.

OnePlus 7 Series Variants??

The tipster also revealed the model numbers of the OnePlus 7 Variants that are confirmed to officially launch this year. The three variants are:

  • GM1901,03,05 – OnePlus 7
  • GM1911,13,15,17 – OnePlus 7 Pro, and
  • GM1920 – OnePlus 7 Pro 5G

He has also shared some launch teaser image for OnePlus 7 Pro which also reveals the tagline for OnePlus 7 series, which is “Go Beyond Speed”. If you remember, the tagline for OnePlus 6 was “The Speed You Need” while for OnePlus 6T the tagline was “Unlock The Speed“.

OnePlus 7 Pro launch

We have already seen the alleged real-life images of OnePlus 7 Pro that revealed the curved edge display with a notchless display. we have also seen some alleged unofficial renders of OnePlus 7 which revealed the pop-up camera module. These images also revealed the alleged hardware specifications of the device. As per that leak, OnePlus 7 Pro features a 6.67 inch super optic display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM & 256GB internal storage and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) based operating system.

In terms of camera, it features a triple camera module at rear consisting of camera sensors of 48MP, 16MP and 8MP. It also confirmed the model number as “GM1915” which is the same as we have seen with the Bluetooth certification of a new device from OnePlus. The Model number of “GM1915” appears totally different from the Model numbers of earlier devices from OnePlus, the last one being A6010 and A6013 for OnePlus 6T.

As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at AndroidPure and we will keep you updated.
