The Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 have been officially announced by HMD Global. And here’s everything you need to know about the phone.

Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2

It appears the Nokia 7.2 is not a rebranded Nokia X71  after all, though they are very similar in terms of specs, and a different design. Instead of an in-display selfie camera, the 7.2 has a water-drop notch, and instead of a vertical camera bump, there is a circular camera array with triple lenses.

The triple camera set up of the Nokia 7.2 comprises a 48MP Quad Pixel primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, 1.6μm pixel size, an 8MP 120° wide angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie lens is a 20MP Quad Pixel camera.

The Nokia 7.2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. The device has a hybrid Dual SIM card tray which supports up to 512GB of expandable memory via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with Android One, and has a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The display on the Nokia 7.2 is a 6.3-inch, FullHD+ 1080p panel which has a water-drop notch and is protected bt 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass.

The phone is backed by a 3500 mAH battery which supports 5V/2A charging over a USB type-C connector. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
