Moto G8 Plus with Snapdragon 665, triple rear cameras launched in India

The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has officially been launched in India. The next gen mid-ranger is fairly similar to the Redmi Note 8 in terms of design and specs.

The Moto G8 Plus is equipped with a 6.3-inches Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a water-drop notch, a 19:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 400 PPI. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie, and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The device has a hybrid Dual SIM card tray which can be used to add up to 512GB of storage via a microSD card slot. The G8 Plus is backed by a 4000mAh battery which is rated for 15W TurboPower Charging, and charges over a USB Type-C port.

The selfie lens housed in the notch is a 25MP lens with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.8μm pixel size. The Moto G8 Plus has triple rear cameras with a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, 1.6μm pixel size, a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens with an FOV of 117°, an f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and a 5MP Depth Sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 2.0μm pixel size. The cameras support Phase Detection Autofocus, Laser Autofocus, and upto 8x Digital Zoom and are assisted by an LED Flash.

The Moto G8 Plus has been priced at Rs. 13,999 in India. It will be available from the end of October, from Flipkart. Buyers can avail up to Rs. 2200 cashback via Relaince Jio, Cleartrip coupon worth ₹3000 and Zoom Car Vouchers worth ₹2000.
