List of devices which will get the MIUI 12 Update in India

The press note from the company says that the update is rolling out in the Country this month. The list is short, but that’s because this is the first phase of the rollout. Xiaomi says that the update will be released for more devices and that it will share information about this when it is ready.
We received the MIUI 12 update on our Redmi K20 last week. New system animations, improved interface design, enhanced privacy, floating windows, better dark mode are some of the new features that are part of the new firmware.
In other news, Xiaomi recently clarified in a public statement recently that it will be rolling out a new version of MIUI 12 Update in India, that will remove Chinese apps that have been banned by our Government. It has also said that “Clean Master” which is among the list of banned apps, is not a part of the cleaning tools incorporated into the MIUI Security app.
