A new update is being rolled out by Poco. This OTA brings the MIUI 11.0.4.0 Update for Poco X2.

MIUI 11.0.4.0 Update for Poco X2 official
For those who aren’t aware, the Poco X2 was recently launched in India, not as a successor to the flagship Poco F1, but as a budget friendly option that just so happens to be providing some competition for the Realme X2.

What’s new in MIUI 11.0.4.0 Update for Poco X2

Now, to the update for the Poco X2. Firstly, the new firmware bumps the Android Security Patch to January 2020. This is a bit odd considering that February is nearly over, and many devices are on the current patch.

Though the change log from the OTA doesn’t mention it, a tweet from the company says that it has optimized the battery in the latest Poco X2 Update, so you should be facing less drain and more standby.

A bug affecting the camera app has been fixed, and it should no longer crash in PRO mode. The image processing has also been optimized for several scenarios. Mi Link now supports more device categories.

The MIUI 11.0.4.0 Update for Poco X2 has the version number MIUI V11.0.4.0.QHINXM. The OTA download weighs about 194MB in size. The update is being seeded and many users have already received it, if you haven’t, navigate to the Settings > System Update to check for it manually.
