iQOO 3 with Snapdragon 865, 55W fast charging launched starting at Rs.36,990

The iQOO 3 has just been announced in India. It becomes the second 5G phone to launch in the Country, after the Realme X50 Pro that was launched yesterday.

iQOO 3 price in India

The phone sports a 6.44-inch SUPER AMOLED display with a punch-hole for the selfie camera in the top right corner of the screen. The screen has a 180Hz Touch Response Rate, a brightness  level of 800-1200 nits, 100% P3 Colour Gamut, HDR10+, 2000000:1 contrast ratio, In-display fingerprint scanner.

The iQOO 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The phone will be available in a 4G variant with 8GB RAM LPDDR5 and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 5G model has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The company says that the iQOO 3 scored 610576 points on AnTuTu Benchmark.

The primary camera department of the iQOO 3 comprises quad lenses with a 48MP Sony IMX 582 main sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, a 13MP Telephoto lens with an f/2.46 aperture, 20X Digital Zoom, a 13MP 120° wide-angle/macro lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Bokeh lens (Portrait) with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.

The selfie camera on the iQOO 3 is a 16MP lens with an f/2.45 aperture.

The phone is backed by a 4440mAh battery that supports 55W SUPER FlashCharge fast charging that can top up to 50% in 15 minutes.

Enhanced Gaming

The iQOO 3 is marketed as a gaming phone, and has some enhanced features. The device has two Pressure Sensitive buttons on the side for ergonomic gaming, which reportedly reduces thumb effort in gaming by 50%. The company calls this ” Monster Touch buttons”.

The phone supports Liquid Cooling to keep the thermal levels low while you play games. The iQOO 3 also comes with an L-Shape Capsule data cable, that makes it easier to hold the phone while playing games when charging the phone.

iQOO 3 price in India

The iQOO 3 has been priced at Rs.36,990 for the 4G variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 256GB 4G variant will cost Rs. 39,990. The iQOO 3 5G with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage carries a price tag of Rs.44,990.

The phone comes in 3 colours: Tornado Black, Quantum Silver and Volcano Orange. The first sale of the iQOO 3 starts at 12PM on March 4th at Flipkart. ICICI Bank Debit Card and Credit Card users can avail a cashback of Rs. 3,000 when purchasing the phone.
