The version number of the Nokia 5.1 update is v4.160. The firmware brings Dark Mode, Smart Reply, Gesture Navigation, Improved privacy and Location controls to the phone. The device has been updated to the September Security Patch from Google.

The Android 10 Update for Nokia 5.1 is being dispatched in waves. The first wave is currently available in the following countries:

  • Armenia
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belarus
  • Georgia
  • India
  • Kazakhstan
  • Mongolia
  • Ukraine
  • Uzbekistan

As usual, only 10% of users from the above mentioned Countries will get the update initially. Nokia will begin seeding the update to 50% of the users on October 11th. The update should reach all users by October 13th.

According to screenshots from users on the official forums, the Android 10 Update for Nokia 5.1 weighs about 1.32GB to download. If you haven’t received a notification for the OTA update, you can navigate to the Settings to check for it manually.

Unfortunately, this may be the last Android OS Update for Nokia 5.1. The device which was launched in 2018, is 2 years old, and is not part of the phones mentioned in the Nokia Android 11 Update Roadmap that was announced yesterday.
