Mivi, the Indian audio and wearables brand, has launched its first smartphone. The Mivi One 5G is a budget 5G handset sold exclusively through Flipkart. It ships with Android 16, and Mivi guarantees OS updates through Android 18.
That software promise is the most interesting part of this launch. Two guaranteed major Android upgrades are more than most phones near this price deliver. Mivi also positions the device as a Made in India product running a clean Android build without preloaded third-party apps. That framing is the company’s own, and buyers will only be able to judge it once units ship.
Viswanadh Kandula, Co-founder of Mivi, framed the move as a step up for the brand.
Entering the smartphone category marks an important milestone in Mivi’s journey as a homegrown consumer technology brand.
Mivi One 5G Pricing and Availability
Mivi has set three RAM variants, all with 128GB of storage. The introductory prices are tied to Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale.
- 4GB + 128GB: ₹14,999 MRP, ₹11,999 during Big Billion Days
- 6GB + 128GB: ₹15,999 MRP, ₹13,499 during Big Billion Days
- 8GB + 128GB: ₹16,999 MRP, ₹14,999 during Big Billion Days
Bank offers may reduce these figures further. The first sale begins at midnight on October 8, 2026, on Flipkart. Note that some retail listings show different introductory pricing, so check the final cart total before you pay. The prices above come from Mivi’s own announcement.
Colour options are Blue, Burgundy, Pink, Green and Navy Blue.

The hardware is squarely mid-budget. A Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 drives a 90Hz HD+ LCD, and the 6,000mAh battery is the headline number. Charging tops out at 18W wired. Mivi includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, which fits the brand’s audio background.
