Samsung Galaxy M22 with 90Hz display launched in Germany
Samsung has quietly launched an affordable phone, called the Samsung Galaxy M22, in Germany. Let’s take a look at the successor to the Galaxy M21.
Display and Operating System
The Galaxy M22 sports a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED HD+ panel that has a screen resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset runs on One UI based on Android 11.
Processor, RAM and Storage
The Galaxy M22 features an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor. The phone has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and supports up to 1TB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.
Connectivity
Network options on the phone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
Cameras
The quad camera set up on the rear of the Galaxy M22 comprises a 48MP primary lens with an f/2.0 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro lens that has an f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor also with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The front camera is a 13 megapixels snapper with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Galaxy M22 weighs 186g and measures 159.9 x 74.0 x 8.4 mm. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W Super fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
