The Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition is the latest phone in the M-series to debut in India. The device is the successor the M20 2020 Edition that debuted in March last year.
The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition sports a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED Infinity-U with a water-drop notch to house a 20MP sensor. The bottom bezel appears chunky, but the phone has narrow side-bezels.
The device is powered by a Samsung Exynos 9611 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 1.7GHz, with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU to handle the graphics. The phone has 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage which can be further expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
The rear panel of the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition has a nice texture to it, and is home to a fingerprint reader. The vertical camera array is split into 3 parts, with a pill shape to house 2 sensors while a third lens sits below the others, and an LED flash module to its right. The main camera on the device is a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM2 lens, assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens that has an FOV of 123°, and a 5MP depth sensor.
Sensors on-board the phone include an Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and supports Virtual Light Sensing. The Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition has been priced at Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB/64GB version, while the 6GB/128GB costs Rs.14,499. The device goes on sale at 12AM on July 26th, and will be available from Amazon.in and Samsung India’s website.
