Huawei’s sub-brand Honor, has announced a new phone in Europe. This is the Honor 9A.
The mid-range device features a 6.3-inches HD+ FullView display with a water-drop notch. The display is an IPS-LCD panel with an 88.4% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and is certified by TÜV Rheinland. The selfie lens in the notch is an 8MP camera with an, f/2.0 aperture, and supports Face Unlock.
The Honor 9A runs on Magic UI 3.1 with Android 10 and Huawei’s App Gallery. The Honor Play 9A is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It’s hooked to 3GB / 4GB of RAM and runs Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1 on top. It comes with 64GB of storage which can be further extended up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The 9A is equipped with triple rear cameras consisting of a 13MP Main Camera with an f/1.8 Aperture, a 5MP Super-Wide-Angle Camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Depth Assist Camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash. Also on the back panel is a Fingerprint Scanner.
The Honor 9A is backed by a massive 5000 mAh battery, but sadly it has a micro USB port and only supports 5V/2A charging. On the plus side, the phone supports reverse charging via USB OTG.

Honor 9A price in Europe
The Honor 9A has been priced at £ 149.99 in the UK, and at €149.90 in Europe for the base 3GB Variant. The phone will be available from Hihonor, Amazon and other retailers from July, and comes in 3 colours: Ice Green, Midnight Black and Phantom Blue. While in China, the 64GB version goes for CNY 900 ($125 or €115), and the 128GB version costs CNY 1,200.
