Realme XT launch date in India announced: features 64MP quad cameras, in-display fingerprint

Realme has announced the Realme XT launch date in India and it is coming earlier than we expected. As per Realme tweet, Realme XT launch date in India is set for 13th September. Earlier rumours have suggested a launch in the last week of September. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro managed to grab the headlines last week by announcing the first 64MP camera smartphone before Realme.

Realme XT Specifications

We have already seen many unboxing videos of the device last week. Realme XT features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ water-drop display with an In-display fingerprint scanner protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Realme XT runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie operating system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor with an Adreno 616 GPU.

In terms of camera, it features a quad camera with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 primary sensor having f/1.8 aperture, 1/1.72″ sensor size, 0.8μm pixel size + 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size + a 2MP depth sensor, an f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size and a 2MP 4cm macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size and an LED flash. The cameras support EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization). While on the front, the selfie lens is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. It is backed 4000mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging, over a USB Type-C port.

Realme XT will be available in 3 variants with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It has a triple card tray with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB of expandable memory.
