A Redmi X flagship phone video teaser has appeared on Weibo. This looks similar to the Redmi Pro 2, which we reported about earlier this month.

The video which was posted by the official Redmi account, features some content from the latest Avengers movie. The first thing it hints is the name of the upcoming phone, Redmi X. This is not the first time we are hearing about the name, there was a teaser poster about the same back in February.

This will be the first Redmi flagship phone, ever since Xiaomi made it an individual brand. If you observe the video closely, you can see a bezel-less design with no notch in the display.

That’s because the Redmi X flagship phone has a pop-up selfie camera.

You can also see triple cameras on the back panel of the phone.

According to earlier rumours, the Redmi X will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. One of the triple cameras is a 48MP lens. The device will be equipped with a in-display fingerprint scanner. Yes, it will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Redmi X flagship phone tech specs

  • Display: Notchless design
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855
  • Main Cameras: Triple Cameras with a 48MP lens, LED Flash
  • Front Camera: Pop-up selfie camera
  • Security: In-screen fingerprint scanner
  • Audio: 3.5mm headphone jack

We will have to wait for an official announcement to confirm these specs, but it does look promising.
