An LG V40 unofficial render has been released by a leaker, and it shows the device in a 360 degree video. The design of the device is based upon a factory CAD.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a notch display design with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The leak report says that the display is a 6.3-inch panel. The notch appears to house the ear-piece and dual selfie cameras.

Truth to be told, the phone in the LG V40 unofficial render doesn’t look all that different. It looks almost the same as the LG G7, at least on the front panel.

But that’s where the similarities end, look at the back panel of the phone. You can see that the device has three rear cameras which are placed in a horizontal array, with an LED Flash next to the lenses.

Here is the LG V40 unofficial render video:

The LG V40 unofficial render also shows that the fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear panel, below the cameras. There is a V40 ThinQ logo and a separate LG logo on the back panel. According to the leak report, the LG V40 has a dimension of 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8mm, and the device is 8.2mm thick if you include the camera bump.

The phone has a headphone jack, a noise cancelling mic, a USB Type-C connector and a speaker grille on the bottom. The right edge of the device’s frame has the SIM tray and the power button, while the left edge is home to the volume rocker keys. A second noise cancellation mic is on the top of the device along with discreetly placed antenna lines.

The LG V40 ThinQ doesn’t have an official launch date yet, but is expected to be announced in Q4. We expect that the phone could ship with Android Pie out of the box, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
