Vivo X30 5G and X30 Pro 5G with Exynos 980 announced in China

The Vivo X30 5G and X30 Pro 5G have just been announced in China. Let’s find out what they have to offer.

Vivo X30 5G

The X30 5G sports a 6.44-inches Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 91.4% screen to body ratio. This is an XDR display that features an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole camera at the top right corner.

The phone runs on Funtouch OS 10 which is still based on Android 9 Pie, and is powered by a Samsung Exynos 980 Octa-core processor with a Mali G76 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The X30 5G will be available in two variants with 128GB/256GB of storage.

The Vivo X30 5G is equipped with three cameras which are aligned in a vertical bump on the back panel and consist of a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 32MP portrait lens with an f/2.0 aperture. The cameras have an LED Flash and support up to 20x zoom, while the depth sensor has a 50mm professional portrait lens.

The selfie lens on the device is a 32MP punch-hole camera with an f/2.45 aperture, that supports face unlock.

The Vivo X30 5G is backed by a 4350 mAh battery, that supports 33W vivo FlashCharge via a USB Type-C port. The phone supports 5G and 4G mobile networks, Wi-Fi 2.4/5.1/5.8GHz, NFC and hasa  3.5mm headphone jack.

The Vivo X30 Pro 5G is nearly identical to the regular variant but for the main cameras. The Pro version features quad cameras comprising a 13MP periscope lens with an f/3.0 aperture, a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 32MP portrait lens with an f/2.0 aperture, and an LED Flash.

The Vivo X30 5G price starts at RMB 3298 (about Rs. 33,000) for the 128GB storage model, while the 256GB version costs RMB 3598 (about Rs. 36,000).

The Vivo X30 Pro 5G has been priced at RMB 3998 (about Rs. 40,000) for the 128GB variant and at RMB 4298 (about Rs. 43,000) for the 256GB storage version.
