Vivo V19 with Snapdragon 712, Dual punch-hole cameras launched starting at Rs. 27,990

Vivo has announced a new selfie-centric phone called the Vivo V19 in India. Here’s everything you need to know about the phone.

The Vivo V19 is equipped with a 6.44” Full HD+ 2400 × 1080 pixels, LIV (E3) Super AMOLED display that has 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1200 nits brightness. The phone has an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner and is  protected by a 6th Generation Gorilla Glass. Vivo terms the screen as the Dual iView Display because it has a dual punch-hole cut out in the top right corner. It houses a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.08 aperture and an 8MP lens with an f/2.28 aperture. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 10 which is based on Android 10. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor and has a Copper Tube Liquid Cooling system to keep thermal levels low. The Vivo V19 has 8GB RAM and is available in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.

The camera specs of the phone are impressive with a quad camera setup that consists of a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture + an 8MP wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP portrait lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture along with an LED Flash. The device is backed by a 4500mAh battery that charges over USB Type-C. The company says that it supports 33W vivo FlashCharge 2.0, which can top up the phone from 0% to 70% in just 40 minutes.

The Vivo V19 Price in India starts at Rs. 27,990 for the 128GB storage model, while the 256GB variant will cost Rs. 31,990. The V19 will be available in 2 colours: Piano Black, Mystic Silver. The phone will go on sale from May 15 on Vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart and other e-commerce websites, and offline stores across India.
