Xiaomi has announced a Redmi K20 Pro open sale in India. The same applies to the Redmi K20 as well.

We had kept an eye on the early flash sales and the device never really sold out in seconds, like those in the budget segment do.

Considering that and the fact that Xiaomi may have manufactured a lot of Redmi K20/K20 Pro phones, the company probably has a large inventory of the devices in India. So, the Redmi K20 Pro open sale announcement doesn’t really seem surprising.

The press note Xiaomi India sent to AndroidPure says that you can buy the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro online at anytime from Mi.com and Flipkart, and that the phones will also be sold in offline stores. We can confirm that the devices are indeed available on open sale at the time of writing this post, although some variants of the devices currently out of stock.

In case you missed it, Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Redmi K20 series in China. But there is no word about a Redmi K20 or a Redmi K20 Pro price cut in India yet. Don’t keep your hopes up yet, but never say never.
