Oppo is set to announce a new smartphone Oppo R11s on 2nd November at an event in China. Oppo R11s can be considered as a major upgrade over Oppo R11, mainly because of the 18:9 display instead of the conventional display. We have already seen the back of the device thansk to official Oppo brand ambassdors, which reveal a dual camera module at the rear panel along with fingerprint sensor.

Today, Oppo official Weibo handle has released the official press renders of Oppo R11s showing the front display of the device which confirms the 18:9 display with minimu bezels at top and bottom while negligible bezels at sides.

Oppo R11 has already surfaced on benchmarking portal Antutu confirming some of the hardware specifications of the device. Based on Antutu, Oppo R11s features an 18:9 display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB internal storage and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based operating system. In terms of camera, it features 20 MP camera sensors both at front and rear.

Oppo has even scheduled another launch event for another device i.e. Oppo F5 in India which also features an 18:9 display similar to Oppo R11s.

We still have no clue on the battery capacity of the device or the possible pricing of Oppo R11s. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
