OPPO A53 with 90Hz display launched for Rs. 12,990

The OPPO A53 has been launched in India. The device had been announced last week in Indonesia.

The A53 is equipped with a 6.5-inches HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 269 PPI and 90Hz Refresh Rate. A 16MP selfie lens with an f/2.0 aperture has been placed in a punch-hole cut out in the top left corner of the screen.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor with an Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB/6GB of RAM. The OPPO A53 has 64GB of storage, and a microSD card that supports up to 256GB of expandable memory.  It runs on ColorOS 7.2 which is based on Android 10. The OPPO A53 is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.

In the camera department, the OPPO A53 has triple sensors with a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, support for Electronic Image Stabilization, 6x zoom, a 2MP depth sensor that has an f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture,  and an LED Flash. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the rear.

OPPO A53 price in India

The OPPO A53 price in India starts at Rs. 12,990 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB version costs Rs. 15,490. The device comes in 3 colours: Electric Black, Fancy Blue, and Fairy White. The phone is available from Flipkart starting today.
