After numerous rumors and leaks about OnePlus 5T, we have some credible news in the form of official confirmation of the name of the device from the company i.e. OnePlus 5T and another confirmation regarding one of the controversial features in flagship devices i.e. the 3.5mm audio jack. OnePlus has made a offical post on it’s forums with lengthy explanation on why OnePlus 5T will have the 3.5mm Audio jack inspite of many brands ditching that in favor of a USB C type port.

The image reproduced above is the first official appearance of OnePlus 5T though it just shows the audio jack portion of the device.

OnePlus 5T is rumored to offer a minor hardware bump over OnePlus 5 with a 6.0 inch 18:9 display having resolution of 1080 x 2160 i.e. FHD+ display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo based operating system with Oxygen OS on top.

In terms of camera, it is rumored to feature 20MP camera sensors both at front and rear, while the existing OnePlus 5 front camera is a 16 MP shooter. Thanks to the 18:9 display, the fingerprint sensor is expected to be placed on the rear panel and there won’t be any home button at front. We have already seen alleged render of top half of front display with minimum bezels at sides.

Rumors indicate that  that OnePlus 5T may be offiicially unveiled in India on November 16 and sale may start on November 23 exclusively on Amazon.
