A few official Redmi Note 8 Pro renders have been posted by the company of the device’s debut. And the design is very different from the Note 8.

What the Redmi Note 8 Pro renders tell us

The variant seen here has a glossy black back panel, with 4 cameras. 3 of these lenses are placed inside a vertical bump along with a fingerprint scanner. A fourth lens sits outside the array with an LED Flash. The words next to the cameras say “64MP AI Super Camera”. This is without a doubt, the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, which Xiaomi announced will be used in an upcoming phone.

If the company’s message about the Note 8 (regul

ar variant) is any indication, the Note 8 Pro should have a similar set up, i.e., a primary camera, a super wide-angle lens, a super macro-lens. The 4th lens next to the flash, is probably the depth of field lens.

Redmi Note 8 Pro liquid cooling system

The Redmi Note 8 Pro renders were accompanied by a message on Weibo, that mentions “Liquid Cooling”. Why does the phone need this? Because it is a gaming device? Based on this, we can tell that the device pictured here is the Redmi Note 8 MediaTek Helio G90T variant. In case you missed it, the company had confirmed that the gaming processor will be power the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. In addition to this, a Redmi Note 8 Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 version has also been confirmed.
