Nokia 7 is official with Snapdragon 630, 4GB / 6GB RAM, 16MP Zeiss camera

As expected, HMD Global has launched a new smartphone Nokia 7 in China. It comes with 7000 series aluminum alloy frame and rear glass frame.

Nokia 7 sports 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Processor along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microSD card up to 128GB and runs on Stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system which can be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo.

In terms of camera, it comes with 16MP Zeiss main rear camera with 1.12um pixel, F1.8 aperture, 80 ° wide, dual flash while on the front it features a 5MP front shooter with  1.4um pixel, f/2.0 aperture, ~ 84 ° wide, dark light landscaping.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 141.2 x 71.45 x 7.92mm. It comes with support for 4G LTE along with VoLTE. The phone is backed by a battery of 3000mAh but there is no support for fast charging. It also comes with IP54 certification i.e. it’s splashproof.

Nokia 7 is priced at 2,499 Yuan (~$380 or Rs. 25,000) for the 4GB RAM variant and 2,699 Yuan (~$410 or Rs. 27,000) for the 6GB RAM variant. It will be available in Gloss Black and Matt White colour options. It will be available in China starting October 24. Company is yet to announce whether the Nokia 7 will be sold in other countries.
