Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 announced in India

HMD Global has announced the Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 in India. The mid-range devices share many things in common. So here’s everything you may want to know about them.

The first thing that’s common between the two phones is the display, which is a 6.39-inches HD+ panel with a cut-out in the top left corner for the selfie lens. The Nokia 5.4 has a 16MP front camera, while the Nokia 3.4 features an 8MP snapper.

The phones run on Android 10, though Nokia says that they are Android 11 ready. The Nokia 5.4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 4GB/6GB of RAM, while the Nokia 3.4 is powered by a Snapdragon 460 chipset with 4GB of RAM. Both phones have 64GB of storage, and support up to 512GB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.

The rear panel design is another similarity between the phones, they have the exact same camera arrangement and fingerprint scanner placement. The lens set up varies though, the Nokia 5.4 is equipped with a 48MP primary lens, a 2MP depth sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and an LED Flash.

In contrast, the Nokia 3.4 sports triple cameras with a 13MP primary lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens and an LED flash. The devices are backed by a 4,000 mAh battery and charge over a USB Type-C port, though only the Nokia 5.4 supports 10W fast charging.

Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 price in India

The Nokia 5.4 price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64Gb model, while the 6GB/64GB version costs Rs. 15,499. The Nokia 3.4 price in India has been set at Rs. 11,999.

The Nokia 5.4 will go on sale from February 17th at Nokia India‘s website and Flipkart, while the Nokia 3.4 will be available from February 20th at Nokia’s portal, Flipkart, and Amazon India.
