Moto Z4 with Snapdragon 675, 48MP Camera, In-display fingerprint scanner announced

The Moto Z4 has been announced in the US. The mid-range phone arrives with support for Moto Mods.

The Z4 is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner which is placed under the 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display. The screen is protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, and has an impressive 85% screen to body ratio thanks to minimal bezels and a water-drop notch.

The phone runs Android 9 Pie and supports Moto Actions, Moto Display, etc. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor which is clocked at 2.0GHzwith 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It has a microSD card slot which supports up to 512GB of expandable memory.

The Moto Z4 has a single rear camera which is a 48MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, that supports Optical Image Stabilization, and Quad Pixel technology (pixel binning). The selfie lens which is a 25MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, also supports Quad Pixel technology. The device is backed by a 3600 mAh battery that supports 15w turbo charging over a USB Type C port.

The Moto z4 has a 3.5mm headphonejack. Moto Mods for the device which are sold separately include a 5G Mod, a 360-degree camera mod, smart speaker with Amazon Alexa and the moto gamepad.

Moto Z4 Price

The Moto Z4 has been priced at $499.99 for the unlocked variant in the US. The price translates to about Rs. 35,000. The 5G Moto Mod for Verizon has been priced at $349.99 ($199.99 for Verizon).

Though the announcement only mentions the price for US and Canada, Motorola says the phone will e available in Germany, India and UK.
