Motorola has announced two devices in the popular G-series. Say hello to the Moto G40 Fusion and Moto G60.
The Moto G40 Fusion sports a 6.78-inches Full HD+ display with an IPS LCD panel. The screen has a 120Hz Refresh Rate, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 84.69% screen-to-body ratio, 396PPI, and supports HDR10.
The device runs on Android 11, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHzm with 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The Hybrid Dual SIM card tray supports up to 1TB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.
The G40 Fusion is backed by a 6000mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port, and supports 20W TurboPower Fast Charging. The selfie lens on the phone is a 16MP f/2.2 aperture lens with 1.2 µm pixel size.
In the main camera department, the Moto G40 Fusion features a triple lens setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size, an 8MP ultra-wide angle and Macro Vision lens, that has an f/2.2 aperture, 1.12 µm pixel size, 118° FOV, a 2MP Depth Sensor with an f/2.4, 1.75 µm pixel size and an LED Flash. The device has a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a rear fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity-wise, the phone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz & 5GHz, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Moto G60
The Moto G60 is nearly identical to the Moto G40 Fusion in all aspects, except the primary rear camera and the selfie lens. The Moto G60 is equipped with a 64MP main lens with an f/1.7 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size.
The front camera is a 16MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 1.2 µm pixel size. The phone is only available in one memory option, with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
Moto G40 Fusion and Moto G60 price in India
The Moto G40 Fusion price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB version costs Rs. 15,999. The Moto G60 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 in India. Both devices come in 2 colours: Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne, and will be available exclusively via Flipkart.
The Moto G60 goes on sale at 12PM on April 27th. The Moto G40 will be available for purchase at 12PM, on the 1st of May. Buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 1,500, when purchasing the Moto G60, or an instant discount of Rs. 1,000 when buying the Moto G40, using an ICICI Bank Credit Card or Debit Card.
