Moto Edge X30 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 launched in China

The Moto Edge X30 has been launched in China. It is the world’s first phone to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

The phone sports a 6.7-inches Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 144 Hz Refresh Rate, 576Hz Touch Samoling Rate, HDR 10+, 10-bit Colour, DCI-P3 Colour Gamut, and 700 nits brightness. The flagship device supports 88.50% screen-to-body ratio, and has a 20:09 Aspect Ratio.

The Moto Edge X30 Special Edition features a 60MP under-display camera, while the regular version has a hole-punch cutout with the same sensor in it.

The Edge X30 runs on Android 12 with MyUX 3.0, and is powered by a 3.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with
8GB/12GB of RAM LPDDR5, and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It supports 5G, 4G LTE mobile networks, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL,Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, and NFC.

The main cameras on the X30 consists of a 50 megapixels primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, a  50MP 117° ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, a 2MP depth sensor and an LED Flash. The handset is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W Fast Charging over a USB Type-C connector. The Edge X30 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security. The device measures 163.56 x 75.95 x 8.49mm, and weighs 194 g. The phone has Stereo Speakers, and supports USB Type-C audio as it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Moto Edge X30 price

The Moto Edge X30 price starts at RMN 3,199  in China, for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB variant costs RMB 3,399 . The 12GB/256GB version costs  RMB 3,599. The X30 Special Edition has been priced at RMB 3,999.
