The Gemini app can now send an interactive app you built in it straight to Google Sites. Choose Export > Google Sites on your quiz, dashboard or calculator, and it opens as a new private site draft. From there you can edit it, publish it and share it. The feature works on the web, Android and iOS, for personal Google accounts as well as Workspace.

Until now, sharing something you built in Gemini meant copying its code or rebuilding it somewhere else. Google’s Workspace Updates blog frames the change around exactly that.
This makes it easy to take what you create in the Gemini app and share it with your team, customers, or students, with no code to copy and nothing to rebuild.
It follows other recent Workspace additions on phones, such as Docs Live voice drafting.
How to export a Gemini app to Google Sites
- Open the interactive app you built in the Gemini app, on the web, Android or iOS.
- Select Export > Google Sites.
- Wait for the app to open in Google Sites as a new draft, then add any extra content around it.
- Publish the site and share it the same way you would any other Google Site.
Google says the exported app stays fully interactive inside the site. Its own demo uses a team performance dashboard.
Who gets it, and what admins should know
Google posted the feature on October 19, 2026, and says it’s available now for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. It covers Workspace customers and Workspace Individual subscribers. Personal Google accounts with access to the Gemini app get it too.
There’s no new admin control for this. A user can only export if Google Sites is turned on for them and they’re allowed to create and edit sites. Sites made this way follow the organization’s existing Google Sites and Google Drive policies.
Check what’s inside before you publish
An export stays private until you publish it. Once published, it’s shared according to your Sites settings, like any other site. If your app holds real data, such as a dashboard with actual team numbers, review it before you hit publish.
