Facebook has announced a new Dialer app for Android phones, called Hello.
The app was built by the Messenger team, and uses the Messenger app to make calls and send texts for free.
The app has a built-in caller id, which identifies the caller, even if you don’t have the number in your contacts. Hello dialer has call blocking too. We are guessing it works similar to TrueCaller which can also do both.
The app integrates with Facebook services, and lets your search for your contacts, people and places, and also allows you to open Facebook profiles and Pages.
And you can also use the app for calling, and managing contacts too. Duh! That’s what dialer apps do.

Oh yeah, sorry about that. The app doesn’t seem to be available in many Countries including India.
