The Android 11 Update for Realme X50 Pro has begun rolling out to users. The company announced the news today on its official community forums. Here’s a brief summary of what you can expect in the latest firmware.

What’s new in the Android 11 Update for Realme X50 Pro

The update brings realme UI 2.0 to the flagship phone. It includes new ways to personalize your device including support for third-party icon packs, creating custom wallpapers by picking colors from your photos, three new Dark mode themes.

Selecting text, images and files is now easier in floating window, split screen mode. There are some new Tone tunes, weather animations, vibration effects, new UI options for Notes. Auto brightness ha been optimized. Do Not Disturb now lets you set a custom time.

The launcher now lets you merge folders or remove them. The Drawer mode gets a filter that lets you filter the list by letters, installed time, and frequently used apps., install time, or usage frequency to quickly find an app.

The new System Cloner can be used to create an isolated version of your OS, and supports different fingerprint unlock. App Lock has its own toggle in the Quick Settings. Low Battery Message when enabled, will send a message, with your location to your selected contact. This will be triggered when the battery level drops to 15%. Another SOS feature that the Android 11 Update for Realme X50 Pro brings is the Emergency Info that is displayed on the lock screen.

The firmware adds support for Android 11’s new permission manager that lets you choose “Allow only once” for sensitive permissions. “Games mode” offers an immersive and distraction free experience. Hotpots can be shared quickly with a QR Code. You can share your personal hotspot with others via a QR code. Cloud Sync now works with the Private Safe feature. HeyTap Cloud allows you to back up your personal data, system settings and migrate to a new phone.

The Camera app now lets you share photos and videos quickly, and you can also edit the media. Video recording supports inertial zoom, level and grid features. Another new option in the camera is the lens stain detection. There are new photo editing features, markup effects and filters.

The version number of the Android 11 Update for Realme X50 Pro is RMX2076PU_11.C.16. The firmware is being rolled out in phases, and will be available to more users over the next few days.
