Amazon has confirmed its next Prime Big Deal Days sale for October 6-7, 2026, marking the fall follow-up to June’s Prime Day. The event runs 48 hours, starting at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6, and is exclusive to Prime members.

Amazon’s own newsroom describes the event as “48 hours of exclusive deals across more than 35 categories,” with new drops timed three times a day, at midnight, 8 a.m., and 1 p.m. PDT. Carmen Nestares, Amazon’s vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech, said in the announcement: “Once fall arrives, there’s so much to get ready for—the hosting, the decorating, the holiday gifting—and Prime Big Deal Days makes it easy to check it all off while saving.”
Amazon says the event will run in 22 countries this year, including the US, UK, Germany, India, Japan, Brazil, and Canada, though exact dates can vary by country. Amazon has also built out an Alexa for Shopping layer this year, letting members set deal alerts on specific products, track up to 365 days of price history on an item, and turn on auto-buy so a purchase triggers automatically once a price target is hit.
What isn’t confirmed yet
Amazon’s announcement doesn’t name a single product or device discount. Some outlets covering the news have floated expectations of phone and tablet deals, including on recent Pixel, Samsung, and Motorola foldable models, but that is speculation from those writers, not anything Amazon has stated. Past Big Deal Days and Prime Day events have reliably included Android phone and accessory discounts, so it’s a reasonable guess, but treat any specific device price you see before October 6 as a rumor until Amazon’s own deal pages go live.
A Prime membership is required to shop the event: $14.99 a month or $139 a year for standard Prime, with discounted tiers at $7.49 a month for Prime for Young Adults (after a free six-month trial) and $6.99 a month for income-qualified Prime Access members.
