Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 launched in Vietnam

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 in Vietnam. The new A-series phones ship with One UI 2.0 based on Android 10.

The Galaxy A51 is equipped with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display (as opposed to the U-shaped notch on the Galaxy A50). It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and an aspect ratio of 20:9. A punch-hole is placed on the top of the display to house a 32MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The device is powered by an octa-core processor and will be available in three RAM variants with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB of storage with up to 512GB of additional memory via a microSD card.

In the main camera department, the Galaxy A51 has 4 sensors arranged in an L-shaped bump long with an LED Flash. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens with an f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery which can be charged over a USB Type-C connector and supports 15W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A71

The Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 have an identical design, but the specs are quite different. The A71 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a punch-hole camera, 20:9 aspect ratio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powered by an octa-core processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage, with a microSD card slot providing for up to 512GB of expandable memory.

The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A71 sports a 32MP selfie lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The main cameras comprise a 64MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 price

The Samsung Galaxy A51 price starts at VND 7,990,000 (about Rs. 24,500). The Galaxy A71’s price has not been announced. Both devices will be available in Prism Crush Black, White, Blue, and Pink colours.

The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 will be available globally in the coming months.
