The LG G7 One is a new phone from the South Korean company, which has been announced ahead of the IFA 2018 trade show. The device is an Android One phone, and the first one from LG.

LG G7 One

The LG G7 One sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) FullVision display with a notch design, and an 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 564 PPI. It has minimal bezels, but the chin is noticeable. The phone is powered by a 2017 processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, with 4GB of RAM.

The device has 32GB of storage, and supports a microSD card (up to 2TB). Being an Android One device, the phone runs on stock Android Oreo 8.1. Hopefully, it will get Android Pie 9.0 soon enough.

The cameras on the LG G7 One comprise of a single 16MP rear lens with an f/1.6 aperture, a 71° angle lens and an LED Flash. The selfie snapper on the phone is an 8MP front camera with an f/1.9 aperture with an 80° angle lens. The phone is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 over USB Type-C.

The G7 One does have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and a Boombox Speaker. The phone measures at 153.2×71.9×7.9mm and weighs at 156g.

Surprisingly, the G7 One is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. The back panel of the phone has a fingerprint scanner, and also has the Android One logo along with the LG logo. Connectivity support on the G7 One includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, and an FM radio.

LG G7 One

The LG G7 One price has not been announced, but given that it is an Android One phone, and that it has a 2 year old chipset, the price may not be high. But then again, this is LG we are talking about.
