One UI 9 Reaches Verizon’s Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6 and S24 FE

Verizon has listed the One UI 9 update, based on Android 17, for three Samsung phones. The Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy S24 FE all show an October 13, 2026 release date on Verizon’s support pages. Each build carries the September 2026 Android security patch.

Which Verizon Galaxy phones get One UI 9

These are the builds Verizon lists for each phone. If your Verizon model is on this list, compare its software version with the build below.

Galaxy Z foldables

  • Galaxy Z Fold6: build CP2A.260605.016.F956USQU4EZIH (System Update 28), September 2026 patch, released October 13, 2026
  • Galaxy Z Flip6: build CP2A.260605.016.F741USQU4EZIH (System Update 28), September 2026 patch, released October 13, 2026

Galaxy S series

  • Galaxy S24 FE: build CP2A.260605.016.S721USQUEEZIF (System Update 25), September 2026 patch, released October 13, 2026

Verizon’s listing covers the S24 FE only, not the rest of the Galaxy S24 lineup. Droid Life reports the same three builds and describes Samsung as rolling Android 17 out to three more US devices.

This report confirms Verizon only. AT&T, T-Mobile and unlocked units were not confirmed for these three phones in this report.

What One UI 9 brings on Verizon

The feature list differs by phone. For the Fold6 and Flip6, Verizon describes the update this way:

This software update provides the latest Android OS 17 and One UI 9.0 features including My FanCam, Warranty Care, updates to Now Brief and Now Nudge, and improvements to user experience, performance, security and privacy.

The S24 FE page gives a shorter list. It names My FanCam, Now Brief and Call Brief, plus general user experience improvements.

Warranty Care is worth a closer look on the foldables. Verizon describes it as a Settings area where you can manage Samsung Care+ or book a service appointment. In practice, that makes it a doorway to paid Care+ plans rather than a new free benefit.

How this fits the wider One UI 9 rollout

Samsung’s September 16 announcement said One UI 9 had reached the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 first. It added that other Galaxy devices would follow gradually. Earlier this month, the update also reached carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 units on some US carriers.
